Ambiguous, misery?

It has been long long time that I want to blog but I just couldn't find a topic to write and chat on. 

Referring to the Oxford Advanced Learners' dictionary, the secondary meaning for ambiguous is 'not clearly stated or defined'. This word perfectly suited to my condition right now. I do not have any topic to write on and I have no idea on what to do next. My life is like in the middle of crossroads, diverged roads, or even junctions. Taking a step further to enter either of these roads need a huge courage and determination thus I remain at the same position, waiting an answer to arrive. Similarly, I do not have a single idea on what to blog, hence I share my uncertainty and ambiguity instead. 

The fourth definition for 'misery' in  Oxford Advanced Learners' dictionary is 'a person who is always unhappy and complaining.' I'm in dilemma and misery due to the ambiguity. I feel upset because out of the sudden, I've lost the inspiration to blog. It often bothers me when I would like to write on something but I just can't think of a topic to write and comment on. I guess, maybe I should read more article and newspaper so that they could bloom and inspire my brain on interesting area which I can comment on. I enjoy blogging and feel comfortable to write and share my point of view especially I know no one would actually access to my blog. I use my blog as a place where I can express my feelings and thoughts freely without any interference and objections.

Tomorrow would be a rather important day for me. I'm going back to MMU to meet my lecturer. Certain decision made which might influence the second halves of my 2012. Hopefully they are influential enough and able to bring some positive momentum to the remaining of 2012. Bye bye to ambiguous & misery!

Engagement

Engagement is a commitment to something; in my opinion. As referred to the Oxford online dictionary, engagement is a formal agreement to get married; with further searching of the former, marry is to join together and combine harmoniously. As such, there should be element of responsibility, commitment and companion to another party.

On the 7th and 8th of May, I'm assigned to join an employee engagement training in Concord Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. In another words, I'm 'married' to a company. It is my first visit to the hotel as well as Hard Rock Cafe which situated just beside the hotel.  As usual, I had a rather pleasant journey of training as I can have a slight break from my workplace and reinforcement to my job.

Positive reinforcement and values are often shared in training. It can motivate one to perform better in their job. This is an employee engagement training thus the training contents would be related to the intra-organisational matters. Elements such as organisation's vision, mission and core values are being emphasized and focused on. It is important to inform and acknowledge the newly confirmed staff on their responsibility towards the progress and growth of the organisation. It is a way from the organisation that they value and aware of the existence of these newly confirmed staff. Such training brings optimistic effects to both, organisation and employee. Employee able to feel that they are being recognised and being apart of the big family which may contributed to further commitment in performing their job. Organisation benefits when their employees are motivated and show enthusiasm in their job.

Several modules are allocated in the training such as communication, customer service and business excellence. As the training is provided by an organisation from servicing industry so customer service are their 'number one' priority. Each and everyone who works for a servicing organisation should have and uphold proper customer service, even though there's a department titled 'Customer Service' which solely handles customers' doubt and inquiries. Business excellence is where every departments and units in an organisation working along hand in hand to contribute the company's goal and vision whereby teamwork no longer the only method to achieve them.

My authority chop

The authority chop I wanted always!

Finally I own an authority chop, with my name rubber-printed on the chop. It is a practise in my company to let every executive level and above to have an authority chop to be stamped on. Upon my confirmation, I envied everyone that has this stamp. I was counting the days and eager to own one too.

Now, I've gotten it. But to my astonishment, I wasn't happy at all. To me, the stamp does not bring any meaning as I rarely use it and maybe I feel that the stamp will not be with me for long.

I still remember how eager I am to work in this company, how much I longed to be in the company. Those passion is reducing. I've no idea on the beneath reason for my lacking but the fact shows that I'm lacking and not progressing. I feel like I'm rather like a robot rushing to make end meets. I could hardly sit down to enjoy my work. I would say this is the working life. I am still amateur. There are still tonnes that I need to learn on. It is time for me to be positive and moving forward, to adhere to my button, 'keep calm and learn on'.

I should tell myself to be brave and face those obstacles. Rainy days will not last long, sunny days will arrive soon!

Refurbishment of blog

I think it has been years that I've not refurbish my blog.
Getting tired of my blog layout thus I decided to change the entire look. I had changed a new layout, new banner and some buttons. My previous blog is rather monotonous and simple. My current blog looks more vibrant and colourful.
I simply like both the buttons I added especially, 'Love like you'll never be hurt' and 'Dance like no one is watching'.

I wonder if someone love like you'll never be hurt, by the end of the day, one will able to receive one's lifetime happiness or one might fell hurt like no one would ever understand.

I always enjoy dancing alone, by the street, along the pathway, on the road and so on. When one dances, one uses one's body to express one's feeling. One will feel extremely relaxed when one is able to dance freely, dance accordingly to the the flow of air and wind. One does not care the point of view of others but continually to dance according to one's flow. This is the freedom of life and everybody desires for that.

Hello Kitty & Elise

This is my facebook cover picture. I simply love the nerdy look of hello kitty; maybe because I am a nerd. Just like many other girls, I like hello kitty. There are a large portion of people presume girl that like hello kitty are childish, girlish, pinkish and always regard them as 'fake' or 'kids'. It isn't something wrong to have a favourite or to admire cartoon character but to an extreme level. Like myself, I simply just like several cartoon character such as hello kitty, mickey mouse, rilakuma, shrek and so on. Summary list of my favourite cartoon character:

Those are my top three favourite cartoon characters.

I merely collect affordable Hello Kitty collectibles. There are many Hello Kitty collectibles available in the market. I do admire and hope to own them but after thinking rationally, I'm not a very tidy person thus I gave up and decided to collect affordable collectibles. Many people are curious when they get to know I am a fan of Hello Kitty. They start to wonder, why on earth I can still be so childish and like Hello Kitty. Then the next question that pop into their mind is, do you realise Hello Kitty is either have a mouth and don have a nose or have a nose and don have a mouth; that makes them think that Hello Kitty is a weird cartoon character as it does not have a complete figure. 

I did think that before, if Hello Kitty were to have a mouth and nose, then it would be even more weird and ugly. Thank God that Hello Kitty creator does not provide Hello Kitty a mouth and nose.

I personally think that Hello Kitty is cute and adorable especially on its collectibles. Maybe because of its nerdy look attracts nerdy like me. After writing Hello Kitty & Elise inspire me to write Mickey Mouse & Elise as I have several Mickey Mouse apparels which I can share with.
